The cyber liability insurance provides cover for first party loss, business interruption and liability losses related to cyber security breach. First party losses include IT forensic expenses, data restoration costs, fines & penalties related to Data Protection Act, legal expenses, public relations expenses. Business Interruption as a result of cyber attacks, DDOS attacks, malicious code, human error and programing error can also be covered as per the policy wording. Liability portion covers legal liability arising out of breach of data confidentiality and network security liabilities.
